In 1987 I decided to bring in a frame manufacture to Tail Wind Shoppe so I could accommodate the needs of my many customers that wanted to upgrade. I picked up the Klein account and in only 18 months I became the second largest dealer in the world .

This frame has the finest craftsmanship offered by Klein (no longer available from Klein) and features Boron reinforcement in the stays and fork blades. Retail at the time was $2300 for this beauty that is still in almost perfect condition. The bottom bracket currently has a Bullseye bearing set pressed in. This can be replaced with a standard pressed in Klein or I recommend the bottom bracket be threaded for Italian cups. This frameset was custom made for myself, it uses 700c wheels and short reach brakes. I had 3 sets of water bottle mounts installed as well as a cadence mount. I have a 1988 DurAce headset installed and still is smooth as silk. The Paint is lacquer Candy Apple Red.
