Henry James gave me a call in July of 02’ and we talked about the state of the industry. True Temper has the greatest steel tube set ever made and wanted more custom builders to be using it. Being that I am one of the only -if only- frame builder using 45% silver to join tubes in fillet, Henry asked me to see what I can do with the S3 tube set and sent me what was needed to build a frame and fork.
Even though this tube set is designed for racing, one more racing frame
in my collection was not a need. I currently do not have a performance
touring frame however, my Fat Chance Wicked was filling in for that.
