You will read about the Joker in "The Adventures of Jalon Hawk". Built for the owner of Tail Wind Shoppe, this is one scream! Made out of Columbus Metax stainless tubing joined together with 45% silver solder. Buffed with the use of a 6 in. buffer, here we have jewelry work that is extraordinary. The large fillets are really to be art work more than strength. The 45% silver is strongest at .005 inch gap and looses strength at 15%/.001 inch making anything past .011 inch useless for strength.
The handlebars are made out of True Temper RCX2 road tubing incorporating internal cable routing and modified Campagnolo brake levers. You may notice that there are 4 more solder joints than a traditional diamond bicycle frame in these bars. Parts include Campagnolo Record throughout except with the substitution of a Bullseye crank and bottom bracket.
Pedals are Speed Play's road type. Wheels include Union Ti. spokes with DT alloy nipples, Sun M19 650c,and topping them off with Continental Comp. GP tubular tires.
