The split in the washer helps with variances of tolerances with bottom bracket and spindle. I found that the CNC machined units would "rock". You will find these to fit very tight! -0- play. I ran out of Bullseye washers and found a supplier that has 7/8th inch washers. I now slip the shim on the inside of the washer for greater strength. Just squirt a little grease in the separation and you will have a water tight fit!

Dear (Jalon Hawk),
I received the package on Saturday...

The quality looks great and I have no doubt that they will perform excellently.
Thank you so very much. you are a mechanical genius and a master craftsman. I feel so lucky to have come across your website and the solutions you provide.
Again- Thank You very much and I will have kind thoughts of you as I ride my newly assembled dream bike courtesy of the shims you provided.

Excited and Thankful,
Aaron J.

Here shown installed with a conversion kit in the Brown Fox.

I did my test run out back where the mud is the thickest. We just received over 1.5 inches of rain in a day and a half and it just started raining when I left. Parts were definitely full of water and sand when I got back, however the Dura-Ace bottom bracket was dry and without contamination.

I have been a big fan of Bullseye Cycle Corp. products for years and the industry lost a brain child when Roger dropped out of sight.

Many of us have more than one set of these cranks and it is great to know that the Japanese company Shimano has come up with a great set of bearings to keep our "Ride" alive!

When using multiple chainrings, it is recommended to use a button head bolt for clearance.
Here we have a photo with the Travelight using the conversion kit and TA chainrings. The "spider" is thinner than the Bullseye adapter. Clearance must be a minimal of 12mm or 1/2 inch between the bottom bracket shell and the chainring bolts.
Here show installed in the Travelight. Fits like a glove and it is the first time in my life that I have not felt any play in a Bullseye crank!
